The packaging said “NEW” on the top and in front of the pack, as it was not the same flavoring as the Roast Beef that was previously sold.

However, unlike the 2002 version, and like the 2001 version, it went back to just turning consumers’ tongues blue. This version went back another year to 2005.

In February 2007, Walkers announced it would be relaunching its line of snacks, including Monster Munch. The relaunch reflects the addition of Sunseed Oil to the product, similar to the previous year’s flagship Walker Crisp refresh.

The layout of the multipack bag was different, it was sideways. Monster Munch’s logo and packaging have changed, but the monster and flavor remain the same. In 2008, Monster Munch baked it instead of frying it like it used to.
