Soyaki Sauce, the Best Food Partner

You don’t have to go to a restaurant where you can make delicious dishes and pair them with delicious soyaki sauce. You can do it all in the comfort of your own home. Soyaki sauce is my favorite when serving dinner. Not only does it add essence and flavor to your dishes, but it also brightens up your dining table.

What is Soyaki

Soybeans and mirin are the key ingredients for making a sauce called soy sauce wood. The main ingredients of teriyaki sauce (soy sauce) are sugar, sake, vinegar, garlic, ginger, and soy sauce. These two sources are quite different from each other in many respects. It is not fermented like teriyaki. Teriyaki requires flour, but soybean yaki does not.

Everything You Need to Make the Best Soyaki Sauce

  • 1/4 cup soy sauce (or tamari if gluten-free)
  • 3 Tbsp rice wine vinegar
  • 2 teaspoon pineapple juice
  • 1 Tbsp honey (or maple syrup )
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon ginger puree
  • 1 teaspoon toasted sesame oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • crushed red chili pepper (optional)

Recipe For Making Soyaki Sauce

Place all ingredients in a high-power blender and blend until smooth. Transfer to an airtight container and refrigerate for 1 week. enjoy!

How Can You Serve Soyaki Sauce?

Soyaki Chicken

  • Frozen or Fresh Boneless Chicken Thighs
    (Can use Chicken Breast)
  • Trader Joes Soyaki Sauce or Island Soyaki Sauce
  • Cold Water
  • Sesame Seeds
  • Green Onions and Scallions (for garnish)
  • Brown Sugar (Optional)
  • Rice Vinegar (Optional)
  • Cornstarch (If using the slow cooker method)
  • Olive Oil (Optional if wanting to use saute function (fresh chicken.)

Step 1 add the chicken-soyaki sauce

Add frozen chicken to the Instant Pot. You can also use fresh chicken if you prefer. If using fresh chicken, reduce cooking time by 2 minutes.

Step 2 add liquid-soyaki sauce

Add water and soy sauce to the pressure cooker. If you like it sweet or spicy, add brown sugar and rice vinegar. Both should be added according to your taste. I don’t like sweets so I didn’t use them.

Step 3 cook the chicken-soyaki sauce

Cover the Instant Pot and close the pressure valve to the sealed position. Cook on high pressure for 15 minutes.

After the cooking time has elapsed, perform a quick release. Don’t let it stray as it will overcook the chicken. Open the lid and remove the chicken.

Recipe of Soyaki Sauce

Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Line the baking sheet with foil. Adds a cruciferous crunch. Drizzle with olive oil and generously sprinkle with bagel seasoning. Bake for 20 minutes. Place salmon in a casserole dish. Pour in the soy sauce marinade and sprinkle with all the bagel seasonings. Bake for 15 minutes. Prepare the couscous in a pan according to the package insert. Replace low-sodium chicken broth with water.

Studies seem to come to contradictory results about soy, but this is mostly because there are significant differences in the methods used to study soy. Researchers have concluded that soy isoflavone supplementation may treat obesity.

Some research suggests that including soy in your diet may provide some potential health benefits. Soy has been linked to healthy cholesterol levels, whichever can help lower your risk of heart disease.

In 2015, researchers conducted an analysis of a study looking at the effects of soy on people’s cholesterol levels. was found to be significantly reduced. LDL cholesterol is also called “bad cholesterol” because it can clog arteries.

The review authors also found that soy intake significantly increased high-density lipoprotein cholesterol, which is also called “good cholesterol” because it helps remove LDL cholesterol from the arteries. People with high cholesterol levels had a greater reduction in LDL cholesterol than those with optimal cholesterol levels. Also, less processed soy foods such as soy milk, soybeans, and soy nuts were more effective than soy protein extracts and supplements.


Does soy being in a veggie burger make it more healthful than a meat patty?

Both types of burgers have their pros and cons. Soy-based veggie burgers and meat patties are both proteins complete. That means it contains all the essential amino acids. However, many soy-based veggie burgers are heavily processed.
In general, eating whole, unprocessed foods is ideal for achieving optimal health. Raw meat patties contain more bioavailable iron, B vitamins, and zinc than soy patties, but soy contains more isoflavones and certain types of Studies have shown that it may reduce the risk of cancer. Many health experts suggest limiting red meat to reduce the risk of disease, especially heart disease. Both soy veggie burgers and meat burgers can be part of a healthy diet, but people should keep their individual health goals in mind. That’s ideal for your health.
